Terms of use

Anode is an informational battery monitor. It does not control charging, repair batteries, certify hardware condition or replace macOS warnings, Apple Diagnostics or qualified service.

Measurements and availability

Readings depend on undocumented or device-dependent values exposed by macOS and may be unavailable, delayed or estimated. Net battery watts and adapter rating describe different measurements. Use trends as context and rely on macOS for authoritative condition and charging-control states.

Free and Pro features

Anode 1.1.1 provides live monitoring, low/full alerts and a 24-hour history view without an app-download charge. Anode Pro is a non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks longer views, charging-session comparisons, CSV export, colour themes and advanced alerts. Customers who originally acquired paid-upfront version 1.0 or 1.1 retain Pro access. Purchases and refunds are administered by Apple.

Safe use

Stop using damaged or swollen hardware and follow Apple safety and service guidance. Nothing in Anode should encourage opening a Mac, bypassing charging protections or continuing to use unsafe equipment.
