Privacy policy

Anode is designed to work without a developer account, analytics service or battery-data server.

Battery information

Anode reads battery and power information exposed locally by macOS, which can include charge percentage, charging state, net battery power, adapter wattage, time estimates, estimated health, temperature and cycle count. It retains up to 90 days inside the app’s sandbox on your Mac so a later Pro purchase can reveal earlier history; the free view shows the most recent 24 hours. The developer does not receive this timeline.

What Anode does not collect

Anode does not collect app usage, filenames, browsing history, account details, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data. The app includes no advertising SDK or third-party analytics SDK.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional one-time Anode Pro purchase. Anode reads Apple-provided product and entitlement information to unlock features. The developer does not receive your full payment details. Apple may process purchase data under its own terms.

Export and deletion

Pro users can export a selected history range as CSV through the macOS save panel. Anode does not upload that file. Settings includes Clear Battery History, which removes the locally stored timeline. Uninstalling the app may not remove CSV files you exported elsewhere.

Website and support

This website does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels or a battery upload form. If you email support, the developer receives your address and whatever you choose to include. Do not send diagnostic archives or personal files unless requested and reviewed first.
